How we picked and compared
We kept the tools whose main job is talking to short-term rental guests with AI, and looked at each one from six angles:
- Revenue. Does the tool help you sell extras (early check-in, late check-out, mid-stay cleaning) and who collects the payment?
- Real questions. Does the AI read the guest's message and answer what they asked, or only send scheduled messages?
- PMS. Do you have to migrate, or does it connect to the one you already run?
- Control. Can you review before sending, and does the AI hand over to a person when it should?
- Price. Is it public, and what does one property cost per month?
- Language. Does the AI answer in the guest's language, and is there a French interface for French teams?
We stuck to what each vendor publishes itself, plus Capterra for ratings. Where something is not public, we say so.

It combines a unified inbox (Airbnb, Booking.com, WhatsApp, SMS, email, phone), AI in Copilot mode (you approve) or Autopilot, a web guest guide called Boarding Pass, upsells and guest verification.

HostBuddy AI is a US AI messaging tool that connects to your PMS and replies to guests. Its plans show a public price per property.

CozyUp
CozyUp is a guest app built to sell extras, with an AI agent, Alvin, that replies to Airbnb and Booking.com messages 24/7 in more than 100 languages.

- PMS: 16 connected channel managers or PMSs, plus a direct Airbnb connection.

Other tools worth knowing
Akia serves hotels and vacation rentals, with a unified inbox, scheduled messaging and upsells from its Basic plan, and AI voice on its Max plan. Prices on request. Guesty, the PMS, offers ReplyAI, which drafts a reply for you to review, and upsells inside its Guest App on a revenue share.

- You want messaging that makes money without changing PMS: Valiris if you run Lodgify, Guesty, SuperHote, Smoobu or Node. Enso Connect, Mr Sherlock and CozyUp play here too: compare the commissions on extras.
- You want one system for everything: Hospitable or SuperHote, with their built-in AI.
